AJM Junior High Marketplace

AJM Christmas Marketplace Dear AJM Parents and Students,

At AJM our students enjoy a wonderful yearly event sponsored by the AJM Junior High Business & Innovations Program- the Annual AJM Christmas Marketplace. In this challenging year of Covid, we wanted to find a safe way to uphold this celebrated tradition and to continue to support our budding entrepreneurs. Starting Monday, students from Grades K through 6 will be invited to preview and then shop at our Christmas marketplace with their classroom cohort. Every measure possible has been taken to ensure that students can enter , view and shop safely. There will be lapse time between class visits, and precautions during the visit to the marketplace. *Please note that our marketplace will be open on Monday and Tuesday ONLY.

To purchase, elementary students can do the following:

Cash Payments - Bring a set amount for purchasing in a sealed plastic baggie. Wherever possible please do NOT send large amounts of coins. Students will be able to buy, and take home, their gift selections in a paper eco- bag. Any change left from purchases will be sent home in a sealed envelope and should be “quarantined” for a minimum of one week.

Online Payments - You can write a signed note with your child’s name/grade and class with the TOTAL Cash AMOUNT PERMITTED for your child’s purchases. Your child will not be permitted to exceed this amount. The total of their purchases will then be added to their student account and can be paid online. *Please note that we are doing this in good faith and ask that parents pay for this “online purchase” promptly. You will find that many of the products developed, marketed and sold are charming gifts! The AJM Business & Innovations Program teaching staff and students want to thank you in advance for the continued support for our program and this special school tradition.
