The last day of regular classes for junior high students is Monday June 15th, 2026. The following tables provides information on important upcoming dates for exams and study hall. We will have study hall available for students each afternoon following exams for students to get teacher assistance with their courses and prepare for the next day’s exams.

PAT and CSA Exams, dates and times are listed below. ALL exams have an allocated time, however all students are given double time for all exams, which is also indicated below.

Grade 7 and 8 students will be writing CSA’s (Common Summative Assessments) in all four core subjects across the division, while grade 9 students write Provincial Achievement Exams. All exams are worth 15% of a student’s final grade.

Some reminders for our students and families:

  • All students are expected to be at school at the regular time, 8:15 am, for attendance each day.

  • They are also asked to return their textbook for the exam being written each day.

  • Exams will begin at 9:00 am. All exams have a designated time and may be allocated double that time. We will follow Alberta Education protocol for all exam timing.

  • If a student is absent on the day of a PAT or CSA, they must write their exam prior to Tuesday June 23rd. Please contact the school to arrange a date and time during study hall to write this exam.

  • Students are not permitted to write their exam early if they are not at school for the exam dates.

  • Should you wish, utilizing School Messenger to report attendance, students are able to leave the building to study at home.
