- Mrs. Swinnerton would like to thank the Kindergarten and Grade One students (Dakhari, Matias, Mason, Ethan, Adrielle, Gavin, Joshua B) who volunteered their time on their day off to get the Kinder-garden ready for planting this week. They were very disappointed to find that the lilies they had been growing had been dug up and that students have continued to play in the area, adding dead dandelions and other debris to the boxes.
- As a reminder, the garden remains OFF LIMITS. This means there should be no students in the area before, during, or after school unless accompanied by Mrs. Swinnerton or Mr. Mendez.

- This is a reminder that junior high students are required to leave their backpacks in their lockers at lunch and lunch recess. They are not to be left in the hallways, the pods, or near the outside doorways while students are outside. If this continues to happen, then backpacks will be taken to the lost and found or the office for students to find.
- Congratulations to the Badminton Team on their amazing performance yesterday at the City Finals! All athletes played hard and made our school proud! We captured the team bronze medal in our division, and our girls doubles - Irene and Jasmine - captured gold!

- May marks the month for the Moose hide Campaign. Moose hide is a symbol of taking a stand against violence and undoing the effects of Residential Schools.The campaign is grounded in Indigenous ceremony and traditional ways of learning and healing. A cornerstone of the Moose Hide Campaign is the moose hide pin. Wearing the pin signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and speak out against gender-based and domestic violence.
