Terry Fox Run

Have you heard the news? Terry Fox once said, “Anything is possible if you try,” so that’s why this year we are going to do the ‘Try Like Terry Challenge’ to honour his legacy. Terry's courage and determination is inspiring us to try as hard as he did, and to come up with a challenge that our class or even the whole school can participate in! AJM has been doing the Terry Fox School Run for many years and last year, we raised over $6600. With the ‘Try Like Terry’ Challenge, we want to fundraise this year by setting goals that we can work toward every day to help accomplish Terry’s goal of ultimately ending cancer! Our individual classroom goals vary, but our whole school goal is $10 000 this year. We run together on the 22nd of September but will collect donations until September 29th. Visit our school donation page and look for your homeroom  https://schools.terryfox.ca/4798 to participate in our classroom challenge! Online donations are easiest, and you'll get a tax receipt. Alternately, send cash or download the pdf form to collect donations and return to your child's homeroom teacher by the morning of the 29th.
